Bantam/Midget U15/U16AAA Elite Skills Development Clinics
The Steam Bantam/Midget U15/U16AAA Elite Skills Development Clinics “Off Season” program will be focused on Midget/Bantam players at 98-96 birth years. The goal of the program is to keep local and regional AAA players developing off season and is part of an overall Steam Bantam/Midget AAA feeder program to the Steam Junior A program in NA3HL and college preparation.
WHAT:
• A proven elite skills development program with the benefits of Steam Junior A, Midget AAA (U16), and Bantam AAA (U15) coaches
• Complements local and regional AAA players individual off season activities
• Training session once per week designed to support Steam Junior A, Midget AAA (U16), and Bantam AAA (U15) teams (i.e., feeder system)
• 1.5 hour ice session every Wednesday (7-8:30 pm) beginning March 14, 2012 thru August 29, 2012 for 21 weeks (a three week break in July)
• This is designed to support and will be coordinated with Steam open try-out camps for Junior A, Midget AAA (U16), and Bantam AAA (U15)
• This is designed to support and will be coordinated with Steam training camps for Junior A, Midget AAA (U16), and Bantam AAA (U15) in August
• Focus on puck handling, skating, passing, shooting, flow drills, and decision making
WHO:
• Players age 1996-1998 (Midget and Bantam Major)
• Lead instructor - Robert Nilsson (Swedish Head coach of Queen City Steam Bantam Major AAA (U15) and QCHA Director of Elite Player Development with Miami University CCHA and Swedish hockey playing experience, Swedish hockey camp instructor)
• Support instructor - Lee Landsdowne (British Head coach of Queen City Steam Junior with Cincinnati Cyclones ECHL and English Premier League hockey playing experience, various hockey camp instructor)
• Support and direction from Don Biggs (Canadian GM/Head Coach of Queen City Steam Junior and QCHA Director of Coaching with 17 years professional playing career in NHL, AHL, IHL, and ECHL)
• On-ice support from various Junior A players and skills coaches will be schedule on ad hoc basis
HOW:
• Players will be asked to commit to the weekly training sessions (no per session fee but it is priced very cost effectively to not inhibit commitment to this off season program)
• $375 per player for the 21 weeks (close to $17 per session and with over 31 hours of intense ice training). Walk-ins will be permitted only at the coach’s discretion to make the session productive and test regional players…only if space available and then a $35 per session fee). Goalies pay $200 per player (no formal goalie training but high level repetitions from U15/U16 AAA players in the region).

HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINING (HPT) - 4ON4 HOCKEY

Program Offers:
Weekly sessions on Monday and Thursday evenings
1 hour and 20 minutes on ice per session (20 minute warm-up/skills plus full 60 minute game)
4 on 4 hockey (high-performance)
Weeks of March 12/15 to April 30/May 3 (8 weeks – 16 skills/scrimmage sessions)
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm Ice sessions; 6:30 pm – 7:15 pm Dryland sessions (indoors/outdoors)
$225 per player (less $15 per session)
Eligible Participants:

Pee Wee and Bantam Spring and Summer Hockey Program
Please register early as there are only 25 spots available.
The Steam Bantam/Pee Wee AA/A Skills Development Clinics “Off Season” program will be focused on Bantam/Pee Wee players at 98,99,00,01 birth years. The goal of the program is to keep local and regional AA/A players developing off season and is part of an overall Steamtraining program hosted by Coaches Dennis Dick, Robert Nilsson and Lee Lansdowne. The program will run 19 weeks at 1.5 hrs per session starting Thursday March 29th through August (break during month of July).
That is 28.5 hours of ice for only $325.00 and only $200.00 for goalies!

The Steam - Railers Mite/Squirt House ADM Skills Development Clinics spring/summer program will be focused on Mite/Squirt House players 10 years old and younger. The goal of the program is to keep players developing off season and is part of an overall Steam training program to develop House players that someday want to play at the travel level. The program will feature ADM drills/skills and 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 scrimmages. This program will be hosted by Coaches Scott Mercalde, Steve Rasmussen and others. We will also have a Goalie coach.
The program will run 17 weeks at 1.5 hrs per session starting Wednesday April 4th through August 22nd (break during month of July).
That is 25.5 hours of ice for only $300.00!

The Steam - Railers Pee Wee/Bantam House ADM Skills Development Clinics spring/summer program will be focused on PW and Bantam House players 98,99,00 and 01 birth years. The goal of the program is to keep players developing off season and is part of an overall Steam training program to develop House players that someday want to play hockey at the travel level. The program will feature ADM drills/skills and 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 scrimmages. This program will be hosted by Coaches Craig Hahn, Andrew Hudecki and Pat Fredette.
The program will run 17 weeks at 1.5 hrs per session starting Tuesday April 3rd through August 21st (break during month of July).
That is 25.5 hours of ice for only $300.00!
